Texas Instruments supports OpenThread with their SimpleLink family of wireless MCUs and actively contributes to the ongoing development of OpenThread.
CC2340R5 / CC2340R53
The CC2340R5 and CC2340R53 devices are part of the Texas Instruments SimpleLink™ F3 2.4 GHz wireless microcontroller (MCU) family, featuring an Arm® Cortex®-M0+ core, 512 KB flash, 36 KB (CC2340R5) or 64 KB (CC2340R53) RAM, ultra-low standby current, and up to +8 dBm TX output power. They support IEEE 802.15.4, Thread, Zigbee®, and Bluetooth® Low Energy protocols.
In OpenThread deployments, the CC2340R5 and CC2340R53 are supported as Radio
Co-Processors (RCP) alongside an OpenThread Border Router (ot-br-posix) or
host processor. You can evaluate and develop OpenThread RCP firmware using the
LP-EM-CC2340R5 and LP-EM-CC2340R53 LaunchPad™ development kits, an LP-XDS110ET
debug probe, and the SimpleLink Low Power F3 SDK.

CC2745R10-Q1 / CC2755R10 / CC2755P10
The CC2745R10-Q1, CC2755R10, and CC2755P10 wireless MCUs belong to the SimpleLink™ F3 CC27xx family, built around an Arm® Cortex®-M33 processor with 1 MB on-chip flash, a dedicated Hardware Security Module (HSM), and multiprotocol 2.4 GHz radio support for Thread, Matter, Zigbee®, and Bluetooth® Low Energy. The CC2745R10-Q1 is automotive-grade (AEC-Q100 qualified) with CAN-FD support, while the CC2755R10 (+10 dBm TX) and CC2755P10 (up to +20 dBm TX with integrated high-power amplifier) include an integrated Edge AI Neural Processing Unit (NPU).
The CC27xx family supports all OpenThread device roles—Full Thread Device
(FTD), Minimal Thread Device (MTD), Radio Co-Processor (RCP), and Network
Co-Processor (NCP)—using the LP-EM-CC2745R10-Q1 LaunchPad™ Evaluation Module
and the ot-ti platform repository.

CC1352
The CC1352 device is part of the SimpleLink™ microcontroller (MCU) platform which consists of Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth® low energy, Sub-1 GHz, Thread, ZigBee, 802.15.4 and host MCUs, which all share a common, easy-to-use development environment with a single core software development kit (SDK) and rich tool set. A one-time integration of the SimpleLink platform enables you to add any combination of the portfolio's devices into your design, allowing 100 percent code reuse when your design requirements change. For more information, visit www.ti.com/simplelink. This LaunchPad kit supports programming and debugging from Code Composer Studio™ and IAR Embedded Workbench® integrated development environments (IDEs).
Kickstart your development in minutes from the TI resource explorer with Project.0. Using CCS Cloud, part of TI's cloud based tools, Project.0 can be built and downloaded to the LaunchPad kit with just a web browser. Project.0 is a fully functional peripheral application allowing control of the LaunchPad kit's LEDs from the TI SimpleLink Starter app or any compatible device supporting Bluetooth low energy connectivity. The project also demonstrates the flexibility of TI RTOS and utilizes the LaunchPad kit's onboard USB serial port to display diagnostic information about the Bluetooth low energy connection.

CC2538
The CC2538 is a wireless microcontroller System-on-Chip (SoC) for Thread, ZigBee, and IEEE 802.15.4 applications. The device combines a powerful ARM Cortex-M3-based MCU system with up to 32KB on-chip RAM and up to 512KB on-chip flash with a robust IEEE 802.15.4 radio. This enables the device to handle complex network stacks with security, demanding applications, and over-the-air download. Thirty-two GPIOs and serial peripherals enable simple connections to the rest of the board. The powerful hardware security accelerators enable quick and efficient authentication and encryption while leaving the CPU free to handle application tasks. The multiple low-power modes with retention enable quick startup from sleep and minimum energy spent to perform periodic tasks. For a smooth development, the CC2538xFnn includes a powerful debugging system and a comprehensive driver library. To reduce the application flash footprint, CC2538xFnn ROM includes a utility function library and a serial boot loader.
OpenThread running on the CC2538 is a Thread Certified Component.
